Orders & Payment

Orders can be placed through this website or via email. Once you have placed an order with us, we will email you with an order confirmation and any additional information relating to your order.

Your orders are quickly, easily and securely paid for via our website which currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.  Should you wish, direct bank transfer may be made upon request.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. 
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. 
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. 


Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs are dependent on where you live and on the type of product ordered. Exact delivery costs will be automatically calculated at the checkout based on the total weight of items purchased.

For some products, the shipping price might not appear during checkout. That means the shipping is free; you will receive your product without additional shipping fees.
All deliveries include a tracking number and are shipped within 3 business days following approval of your payment.
We use renowned Express International Shipping companies only. Once shipped, delivery takes up to 5 to 8 business days.

Please make sure you send us a valid mailing address and a valid local telephone number for the recipient. We cannot be held responsible for items which do not reach the recipient due to incorrect details.
Please note that the courier company will only make 3 delivery attempts and then the parcel will be returned so if you are out and they leave a card please contact them as soon as possible. Otherwise if the parcel is returned to us, return shipping must be arranged at the buyer’s own cost and convenience.


Returns

We aim to deliver high quality, handmade in limited number home accessories and rugs. If for some reason you are unhappy, please  contact us and we will do all we can to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your RockTheCamel purchase.

All our products are carefully hand finished and quality checked before being thoroughly packaged for shipping.  

Once you have received your delivery, please inspect it for quality. We will gladly return, refund or replace any item that arrives damaged. Please retain original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your item, you may return your undamaged and unused (in the original packaging and in perfect resalable condition) purchase within 14 days. The customer is responsible for shipping charges associated with returning a non-damaged item.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Disclaimer;

It should be remembered that because of the nature of handmade items, no item is identical or 'perfect'. There are imperfections that we feel add character to each piece. Natural variations occurring in fabric, leather, textiles, metals, wood or glass should not be considered defects and as such RockTheCamel does not guarantee the colourfastness or matching of colours, grains, textures or surface oxidation of such materials.

We aim to provide accurate representation of finishes, fabrics, and materials displayed on our website however due to lighting conditions and resolution qualities on different computer monitors, representation of colour may vary from actual product.

When an item is 'Vintage', that means they are at least 20+ years old. They were most likely previously owned.  We do, however, only choose items that are still in excellent condition.

All vintage pieces have been cleaned before they are shipped out.

If we determine the issue is not a defect but a normal variance in design or construction, you are still more than welcome to return it for a refund or exchange.
